2. Bullets Part 1 Open Microsoft Word Type in your first and last name
On the next line type “Favorite Sandwich”
Click the arrow on the “Bullets” button and select “Define New Bullet”
Click the “Symbol” button, choose the heart shaped symbol, and click “OK”
Click the “Font” button, under “Font Color:” choose red, and click “OK”
Click “OK” to exit the “Define New Bullet” window 4) 5) 6)

3. Bullets Part 2 Make sure the Ruler is visible
Go to the “View” tab and click the box for “Ruler” 2)
You should see the following markers
First Line Indent Marker
Hanging Indent Marker
Left Indent Marker

Part 3
Make sure your cursor is on the “Favorite Sandwich” line. Grab the Left Indent Marker and slide it left until the First Line Indent Marker is at the edge of your margins
Hit [Return] to create a new line
On the next line type in a preferred sandwich topping
Click the “Increase Indent” button 1) 4) 6)
Move the First Line Indent Marker until the bullet is below the ‘v’ in ‘Favorite’
Click the “Numbering” button

5. Bullets Part 4 On the next line type a second sandwich ingredient
Highlight this line 2)
Click the arrow on the “Bullets” button and select “Define New Bullet”
Click the “Picture” button, use the “Bing Image Search”, and search for “Central Michigan University”
Select the picture of the Action C, click “Insert”, and click “OK” 4)

6. Bullets Part 5 - Review Save
Shade your first name the following color (RGB: 60, 120, 90)
Save
Save this file as:
“FirstName LastName Bullet Tutorial.docx”
Upload the file to BlackBoard
Under the “Tutorials” Tab
