In addition, the quantified relative expression (means ± SE) for each protein of interest in sedentary normotensive (n = 8), sedentary SHR (n = 7), and daily exercise SHR (n = 7) is presented. Sedentary SHR had significantly decreased phospholamban protein expression (−34%), whereas Na+/Ca2+ exchanger protein expression was significantly increased (47%).
