3. Acceleration
Acceleration is the change in speed divided by the time it takes for the change to happen.
If your acceleration is 5 m/s2, your speed is going up by 5 m/s each second. Every second, your speed gets 5 m/s faster.

Jasmyne is running at 4 m/s. She accelerates to a speed of 10 m/s. This takes her 2 seconds. What is her rate of acceleration?
