Cybercrime is a crime done on the computer, there are many ways to do cybercrime yet MORE to prevent it! some ways to do cybercrime are viruses, identity theft, and by simply guessing peoples passwords.

The government helps a lot with the whole crime fighting against identity theft, cyber crime, viruses etc. now let me explain how.

Police image themselves as little girls or boys so they can catch hackers.
Use password protection when you do this you can prevent the chance of a hacker hacking in.
Encrypt all the data you’re sending. Hackers can easily see your info if you don’t.
Be smart! Save everything on a saving device other than your computers hard drive. You’ll never know when a virus could hit you out of the blue.
Don’t place your hard drives near where your computer is, a hacker could easily find it and see all your personal information.
Make your password easy to remember yet difficult for other people to know.
Install antivirus software. It will tell you when a virus is about to approach and then it will block it.
If you have an unknown s do not open it you don’t know if there are a whole bunch of viruses in there.
When shopping online be very careful and read the terms and use policy what if they sell your credit card number to third parties and there you go identity thief has happened.
If you’re a kid like you or me don’t be a stupid idiot and put all your info and then expect to be safe be careful when putting information in.

I know I wouldn’t. Imagine that computer with the pictures, work info oh and you forgot to log out of your bank account so know he has your bank account too. You think to your self what an idiot. Well you can help people save thousands of dollars and put cyber criminals down, and leave them where they belong the big house. And you can be a cyber hero. Sure you might be thinking oh I’m too young… no way Jose your never too young too help so if you’re like me we can be the junior cyber guards of America!

Sure they might be your friend or even your parents but if we don’t get this problem out of the way more money will be stolen and less money we will have for the economy and ourselves.

Well you’re probably wondering what all this has to with cyber crime… well cyber crime can get you in these types of situations, like when your friend downloads an illegal movie and tells you the website and everything. You really want to see the movie yet you really know it’s illegal…what would you do. Well on the good side the government is pitching in and so can we! Be Smart!!!
