2 Title: What was life like in Colonial America ?
24 August August 2019 Learning Objective: To investigate what life was like in the American colonies. Learning Outcomes: Good: You must be able to extract information from a source. Great: You need to be able to explain a reason why a source is useful using details from the source. Awesome: You need to be able to explain one way that the provenance of sources affect their usefulness.

The first successful English colonies in the West Indies were founded in the 1620s: The settlers set up sugar and tobacco plantations, and used slave labour. 3 minutes
