2 Margins Part 1 On the first line type your first and last name
Under the ‘Layout’ tab, click the ‘Margins’ button Click on ‘Custom Margins’ Change the ‘Left’ & ‘Right’ margins to ½ inch (0.5”) 1) 3)

3 Tabs Part 1 Under the ‘View’ tab, make sure the ruler is visible
Two lines down from your name, type [press the tab button] “Monday” [tab] “Tuesday” “Wednesday” “Thursday” “Friday” 1) 2)

4 Tabs Part 1 Click on the ruler to add tabs Add tabs at: ½ inch
2 inches 3 ½ inches 5 inches 6 ½ inches Click the [enter] button Enter the following: [tab] “BIS 101”

5 Indents Part 1 2) First Line Indent Marker Hanging Indent Marker
Two lines down, write a paragraph about how you made a meal. Use your mouse to select the paragraph 2) First Line Indent Marker Hanging Indent Marker Left Indent Marker Right Indent Marker On the ruler, move the Left Indent marker to 1 inch ***The Left Indent and Hanging Indent markers always move together. The Left Indent maker will also move the First Line Indent marker. Move the First Line Indent marker to 1 ½ inches Move the Right Indent marker to 5 ½ inches

6 Save Sample Save Save this file as:
“FirstName LastName Tutorial 3.docx” Upload the file to BlackBoard Under the “Tutorials” Tab
