3 ATM/MA Mathematics Conference April 2019
H06 Resources to put a SMILE on your face Wednesday 17 April 16:00 to 17:30 Stephen Lyon Michael Anderson

4 Session Aims SMILE (Secondary Mathematics Individualised Learning Experiment) was initially developed as a series of practical activities for secondary school students by practising teachers in the 1970s. If you are of a certain age you will smile with affection at the thought of using the SMILE resources. If you have not a clue what the SMILE resources are then here is your chance to find out. In this hands-on session we will explore some of our favourite key stage 3 and 4 SMILE resources, share how they can be accessed on-line for free and discuss how they can be used in the classroom. Aimed towards: Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4
