2 Why is assistance called a Statewide System of Support?
Each State shall establish a statewide system of intensive and sustained support and improvement for local educational agencies and schools receiving funds under this part, in order to increase the opportunity for all students served by those agencies and schools to meet the State's academic content standards and student academic achievement standards. ESEA Section 1117 2 September 2009

4 Why were the Roundtables created?
To increase student achievement and increase the graduation rate by providing: An internal communication network to prioritize and target DPI resources A network to roll out initiatives to help districts and schools strengthen instructional delivery A point of contact at regional level for LEA’s to share needs 1/7/2010
