2 What is a widget? Adds functionality to a Form Preconfigured
Customizable with built in parameters A Screen Widget is a predefined interface item that can be added to the form builder through the Add Data Field tab. Many screen widget have parameters that give the ability to customize the item. All widgets are designed to automatically add interface functionality that would otherwise have to be created from scratch or would require extensive coding knowledge. The benefit of a screen widget is that is can be chosen, snapped into place, and with function without much work. Most of the widgets are used in Insert or Update Forms, except where noted , and are only available for specific entities

The Calendar Assistant widget can be configured to display either available date, time, location periods or time slots meant to aid the user in picking the best possible day to schedule an event. Calendar counts and conflicts will also be available for time periods or time slots The Calendar Assistant widget doesn’t always update the display list in real time. The Refresh icon can be used to refresh the list. The Items to Display drop-down list will allow you to decide how many items (10, 25, 50...) will be displayed at one time. The Time of Day drop-down list will allow you to choose (AM, PM, or Anytime) and filter the list based on the time of day. If Counts are being displayed, you can hover over the field to view a pop-up of the events scheduled at that time and location. Selecting an entry from the Scheduling Assistant widget will automatically populate the start and end times, date, and location fields if they are present on the form. In order for the Scheduling Assistant widget to populate you need to at least have the ScheduledEvent:StartDateTime field. When the field is entered, the Calendar Assistant will display available options.
