1 Scene 2: What does Juliet mean on line 150 (“I’ll to my…”) AND what lit. convention is this? (hint: you’ve seen how the play ends) Explain Juliet’s confusion… based on what the Nurse says about her feelings for Romeo Scene 3: What does Friar L. mean in lines 2 & 3 AND what lit. convention is this? Why does Romeo say banishment is worse than death? (p & 143) List the *three* blessings Friar L. tells Romeo that Romeo has. (p. 149 & 151) If Friar L.’s 1st plan was to marry Romeo & Juliet so their families will stop fighting, what is his 2nd plan now that Romeo is banished? (p. 151) (hint: there are at least 7 parts)

2 You are the director… Which famous people (celebrities, movie/book characters, etc.) would you cast in the following 7 roles? They can be whatever age and/or as characters they’ve played Also provide a rationale. My example: Mercutio = Jimmy Fallon! Rationale: he’s funny, quick-witted, and can sing (M. sings that song to the Nurse in II.3). Juliet Romeo Paris Lord C. Lady C. Nurse Friar L.
