November was a month filled with fall crafts and lots of learning. In the short month of December, we will continue to learn about main character, rhyming, sorting by color, shape, & size, identifying longer vs. shorter, drawing a picture to tell a story, and writing our first name in capital letters. Our letters of the week will be C and O. Our social skills curriculum will focus this month on identifying feelings (happy, sad, surprised, scared, angry). Our word of the week program will have us focus on the words TURN and NEW.
Reminder:
We go outside even if it is sprinkling and cold. Please send a warm, winter coat with your child every day! Hats and mittens help keep your children warm too!
Save the Date!
You are invited to join your child in decorating and eating gingerbread on Thursday, December 13. At the end of the class, you may take your child with you or have your child follow their regular end of class routine.
