Placement is not for everybody
Placement experience is different for everybody – Be Motivated!
Work experience is always good, but you need to make the most of it
Be open, apply to as many companies as possible
It is easier to get a placement job than a graduate job

To companies:
Paper work, especially foreign nationals, is problematic – give assistance / guidance
Challenge the student
Be open to their motivations
Placement is a form of advertising – before, during & after.
International students may bring something valuable beyond their CV.
