1 Air Resistance and Terminal Velocity
Per. 7

2 Free Fall Free fall is downward movement under the force of gravity only. (so basically falling down.) Example: When you drop your phone. There's no air resistance and gravity is pulling it down. Its falling. Hence he term “Free Fall.”

3 Gravity Gravity is the attraction between two objects with mass. The more mass an object has the more gravity it creates. Example: Gravity holds your car down to the ground. Because of how big your car is the more mass it has and the more gravity it creates.

4 Air Resistance Air resistance is when the force acts in the opposite direction to an object moving through the air. Example: Standing in front of a fan. ( the moving wind created by the fan meets the Resistance of your body and cools you off )

5 Terminal Velocity Terminal velocity is when the force of gravity on an object equals the resistance to its movement through air. Example: When you drop something

6 What is Gravity and Why is it important?
Gravity is a force pulling together all matter (which is anything you can physically touch). The more matter, the more gravity, so things that have a lot of matter such as planets and moons and stars pull more strongly. Without the gravity of the sun there would be nothing to stop us from flying out into the cold darkness of space. As a matter of fact without the force of gravity there would be nothing if that could exist but an infinitesimally fine misty characterless soup that would never bind together. Gravity is important in many ways, if it didn't exist their won't be a universe in the first place no life on earth or life on any undiscovered

7 Describe how air resistance and terminal velocity can affect an object in free fall
Consider a skydiver: When he opens his parachute the air resistance suddenly increases, causing him to start slowing down. Because he is slowing down his air resistance will decrease until it balances his weight. The skydiver has now reached a new, lower terminal velocity.
