3 Central QLD ARU Junior Gold Cup - TEAM MANAGER Reporting: Responsible to CQ Junior Gold Coordinator (CQRU Director of Rugby) Reports directly to the Head Coach on all rugby related issues In consultation with Head Coach, Manage all disciplinary related issues Primary Duties: Management of player nomination details in consultation with head coach and JGC Coordinator. Distribution of itinerary to players and officials Ensure players and officials are on time and correctly attired for all activities including; training, games, travel and after match functions Distribution of after match function items (e.g. meal and drink tickets if required) Ensure logistical; team support and travelling arrangements are in order. Recording of attendance at team training sessions. Clothing distribution (shorts/socks etc.) Ensure team requirements are looked after for game days (e.g. sufficient ice, team sheets, other items as required) Adherence to ARU & QRU management requirements for the duration of the tournament. Secondary Duties Attend all training sessions Building rapport with players Ability to ensure messages/feedback/coaching detail is being received by players at training Additional: Manage and monitor all aspects of the ARU / QRU Code of Conduct Manage value-added programs Provide coaching support as directed. 4 Central QLD ARU Junior Gold Cup - Head Coach Position Purpose - The Head Coach will be keenly focussed on the provision and co-ordination of necessary support of the ARU (Central Queensland) Junior Gold Cup product. This product being the successful development of pathways to ARU program and successful CQ Rugby brand. Reporting – Reports directly to nominated CQ ARU JGC Coordinator (Director of Rugby, CQ Rugby Union) Duties: - Coaching Plan and prepare all facets of on field team playing requirements. Plan and prepare game systems, skill development, training sessions, game previews, Video review, player feedback Consult on areas of direct control pertinent to the success of the rugby team (i.e.; Strength, injury management processes, player and associated staffing) Assist in areas pertinent to the success of the playing team. Ensure codes of behaviour both on field and off field are adhered to. Selection of playing teams Oversee the roles of immediate staff – i.e. Fitness coach, medical, managerial and assistant coaching staff. Be accessible to opportunities to network your knowledge outside of JGC program and develop yourself professionally. Network closely with the ARU and QRU participation and recruitment staff when and where possible. - Selection Coordinate player nomination and selection process with Team Manager and staffs Network closely with all regions (Wide Bay; Central West & Highlands; Mackay and Rockhampton districts) & QRU development personnel. Coordinate and liaise on selection process to ensure schoolboys and club players are identified & represent our best local talent. - Operational Contribute to and participate in overall development of CQRU program. Meet and report on progress of team as required. Conduct and attend staff meetings as necessary Communicate in a professional manner with Corporate Partners, Media, Supporters, Competition officials; parents & families - Key Performance Areas Professionalism and effective mentoring in areas of Coaching, recruitment and development Performance of the team Effective leadership and disciplined role model Liaison with and integrity to all parties (i.e.; key stakeholders) Effective team planning, player review / feedback and game analysis. Implementation and activation of talent identification, recruitment, development and player monitoring in alignment with ARU expectations. 5 Central QLD ARU Junior Gold Cup - Assistant Coach. Reports to: Head Coach Aim: To plan & assist the implementation of coaching sessions as requested by Head Coach. Objective: To ensure players improve during their involvement with the squad and to work closely with all staffs during the ARU Junior Gold Cup calendar. Primary Duties: Responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of the ARU generic skills program Assist with all coaching programs in generic areas of defense, offence, positional & fitness programing Provide evaluation and interpretation on training and match performances Provide regular updates to coaching staff on fundamental areas of player performance Secondary Duties Assist where necessary with the design, implementation and control of individual systems and strategy sessions with staff coaches Other Assist with the monitoring and adherence to Code of Conduct In conjunction with Team Manager assist recording of attendance at team training sessions. Where required assist Medical staff to ensure player injuries are recorded and players follow suitable maintenance of injuries at training. STEVE ANDERSON MSC MA FISM - JGC TOURAMENT

6 Central QLD ARU Junior Gold Cup – Strength & Conditioning Coaches Reports to Head Coach in all duties and function Primary Duties Provide Fitness Plans relevant to ARU JGC preparation requirements Conduct Fitness Test programmes Ensure all plans are integrated and relevant Attend all meetings working closely with all coaches Provide periodic reports to coaching staff as requested Secondary Duties Assist with the monitoring of individual programs Assist with log books for players Assist with testing, evaluation and recording (where applicable) Assist with the design, implementation and monitoring of individual rehabilitation programs in consultation with the medical staffs Where necessary provide dietary advice to players as required Other Be responsible to Code of Conduct. Assist Team Manager with training itineraries & general team requirements for training and matches. Where required assist Medical staff to ensure player injuries are recorded and players follow suitable maintenance of injuries immediately following games. STEVE ANDERSON MSC MA FISM - JGC TOURAMENT

7 Central QLD ARU Junior Gold Cup – Medical Advisor Liaise with: Head coach Assistant Coach Team manager Management Primary Duties: Provide medical and fitness advice on players. Secondary Duties: Liaise with Head Coach on tournament training programmes for players. Monitor the players well-being during the tournament and offer fitness advice as required. Responsibilities: Mange all areas relating to medical issues in consultation with tournament staff. Attendance at all squad activities. Liaise with team manager on squad requirements. Liaise with head coach and assistant coach on injury and treatment. Liaise with tournament medical staff as required. Report on the fitness of the squad. Attend all tournament management meetings as required. Other Be responsible to Code of Conduct. Assist Team Manager with training itineraries & general team requirements for training and matches.
