Hedgehogs – Summer 1 This 'Pick and Mix' homework is for the whole half term. Red Boxes need to be completed regularly each week. Yellow Boxes must be done at some point during the half term. Challenge yourself to the Green Box activities. These do not have to be done, but if you want to push yourself, that would be super! Reading Read your book at least 3 times a week. Look at the pictures and talk about what happens. Try to spot the sounds we have been learning together. Go for a walk in the woods, what can you see? What can you hear? Return by: The Prayer Box! You can write a prayer about special places. Write a letter to a character from a traditional story. Return by: Practice throwing, catching, rolling and kicking a ball. Aim for a target and challenge yourself. Copy write your first name and surname 10 times! Can you write your full name from memory? A Family Learning Activity Create a picture using natural objects just like those created by Andy Goldsworthy Spellings Spellings and letter sounds will be sent home weekly and tested on Friday. Try your best to learn them all and practice your handwriting joins. Find a poem about a fairytale character Focus on matching objects to numbers 10-20 Take a visit to the library, can you find any traditional stories there? Draw 3 features of your locality that you pass on your way to school. Return by: Look around your local area, what shapes can you find? Use different items at home to create a printing picture. Return by: Number Facts Complete the target in your Maths Homework Book 3 times a week. Please tick and initial the activities your child has completed. Please ask if your child needs a new book.
