9 Dependency Manager Every page and file in OU Campus gets a unique ID number “Dependency Tag” ID number never changes When making links, OU Campus uses the ID number, not a URL Links to files get automatically updated when they move or are renamed Now, your only broken links will come from deleted files

13 Gadgets Small apps designed to make your life a bit easier in OU Campus Gadgets can appear in the sidebar or the Dashboard Customize which gadgets appear Gadgets are context-specific 20 (and counting) gadgets available in the system

14 Things to Remember Enter the system with any DirectEdit link, but may not be able to edit page. Only one person can edit a page at a time with “check out”. Check “My Checked-Out Content” gadget. Dependency Tags are assigned to all internal pages and files only; no external pages or files. Dependency Manager does not manage deleted pages or files. Assets are added to a page where they CANNOT be edited. Snippets are added to a page where they CAN be edited. Components are added to a page where they CAN be edited using form fields Gadgets will streamline your editing experience
