2. Arches
Arches were used to hold up buildings and bridges. It would not hold anything up without a keystone.

3. Concrete
The Romans used concrete because it was stronger than stone. They also used it for different styles.

4. Roads
Roman roads were made of just stone planted into the ground. Now, roads are made with cement and asphalt.

5. Domes
Domes were used for architecture and large and well-defined interior spaces. They used there domes in temples, and palaces.

6. Aqueducts
The aqueducts were used for transporting water and some of them are still standing today.

7. Romance Language
There are a lot of Roman languages such as: Spanish, Italian, French and Romanian.
In Spanish “star” is said “estrella.”
And, in Italian it is said “stella.”
