1 Greece-Group D

2 Differences and similarities between the countries
Wind Energy - all except for Poland Hydro Storage - Everywhere with mountains (so not Denmark) The other mechanical and chemical storage (Everywhere)

3 Problems concerning renewable energy
Greece has geographical potential - 100% renewable Financial problems People are sceptical Reliability and consistency Lack of cooperation among the nations

4 Solutions International cooperation (worldwide communism (30 years tops)) Energy storage Hydrogen electrolyzer Molten salt Supercapacitors Mechanical solutions

5 What is a Hydrogen Electrolyser
This process requires producing hydrogen from water through electrolysis. The hydrogen atoms are separated from the H20 and O2 molecules to be then stored in big containers. To use the energy the hydrogen atoms are released in high pressure which can be used to spin a turbine hence produce electricity through the conventional way. The only waste product in this process is H20 and oxygen which is inexpensive to dispose of as it can be reused for many other things.

6 Advantages and disadvantages
100% clean The hydrogen can be stored for later use for long periods of time as suppose to something like a flywheel. There’s no limit on product. Producing Hydrogen is 20% more efficient than burning fossil fuels.

7 Plan of action Solar energy and Wind energy in Greece
In general more investments in renewable energy New and better technologies for non mechanical storage
