3 Key developments over the past year
Regional meetings Autumn 2016 and Autumn 2017 Highly successful first National Conference in April 2017, attracting 200 delegates Continued presence at Academies Shows (Birmingham & London), and presenting on ‘Building Our Future: Running an Effective and Efficient Estate’ at the next Academies Show in November 2017 TTN website developed to include a new “members’ area” discussion forum and document/guidance library for registered members to access Continued to build strong links with ESFA, DfE, CIPFA, NASBM, HSE and other organisations relevant to the sector Established a monthly members’ newsletter, keeping members up to date with network events, information and news items relevant to the sector

4 Future Directions The Trust Network - Vision
The long term vision for The Trust Network is for the TTN model to be used as a template for the sector. TTN have set out a 5 year vision, with a year on year action plan to work towards this goal. 5 year vision All independently run state-funded schools to: Have a clear vision of building liability & responsibility Embed a strategy for estates management & life cycling into operations have sight of national/regional procurement opportunities for both professional support and capital programmes have opportunities to share & embrace best practice The network to be a nationally recognised body: Forming a single voice on important matters with EFA/DFE and local authorities Working with national/regional procurement bodies to affect change for members Regional structure to better support MATs in clusters Regional and national workshops, online communication regional champions i.e. the coordinators of the network

New Improved Website Launched October 2017… New Members’ Only Area Document library (templates, meeting slides, case studies, good practice etc) Discussion forum (Yammer forum will be phased out) Member directory (connect with other network members) Members must register to access the new areas
