Jessica Garner Academy of Equine Dentistry opened new educational opportunities. Im considering going after high school. I got the opportunity to watch an entire extraction procedure of a back top molar. It was very educational.

Pamela Henderson Our trip to the Academy was really amazing. I learned so much about how bits should fit properly, and how bad teeth can effect the way horses eat. My mom and I are going to be taking our 4-H Club out there as soon as we can. I hope to maybe interest a few of our younger kids in attending the school after they graduate. This was surely the most rewarding field trip I have ever been on. Our trip to the Academy was really amazing. 5 Casey Upshaw One of the many things I enjoyed about our trip was how close we were able to be to the work that the technicians were performing on the many horses and ponies housed in their facility. It was amazing to see the kinds of treatments people are using to better the lives of these animals that we all love. 6 The Academy was amazing the experience was good for learning and it opened our eyes to see more jobs that we could do with horses. While there we got to walk around and see all the horses that they were working on. We watched one horse through the whole process of getting his tooth pulled. It was interesting but there was a lot of blood. Another horse was getting all of his front teeth pulled it was interesting to see all of the gaps in his gums. Also when we got to see the teeth afterwards they were huge. It really put in comparison us to them. I hope to some day go back and learn more of what I can do just for my horse to help her teeth ware right and how to keep them healthy longer to avoid having any problems. The Academy From The Eyes Of Courtney Kelly

I learned that the health of a horses teeth is very important. If their teeth and mouth are in good condition… it can help the horse eat better, and save you tons of money on hay. -Kacy Bongiovi

This was a really fun field trip. I learned that this profession is really good to go into while you are still in college. You can learn how to be an equine dentist in no time, while going to college. You can also work while you go to college and schedule horses on your own time. I am seriously considering going into that fields.

I learned that class rooms can be comfy!!! Tyler Spencer

At the Equine Dentistry school, there was academy students working on some horses. We learned that it is important for a horses teeth to be looked after. It affects just about every function of the horse.

Equine Facility The Academy of Equine Dentistry was a very good learning experience and it was great how we could interact with the workers while they were doing their job. I learned that horses need to have their teeth taken care of just as much as us to be healthy.
