1 Characterization of the primary and Ras-transformed myofibroblast cell lines.
Characterization of the primary and Ras-transformed myofibroblast cell lines. (A) qRT–PCR quantification of Vnn1 expression by primary myofibroblast cell lines after stress induction. (B) Production and phenotypic characterization of Ras-transformed myofibroblast cell lines showing (C) GFP versus Vnn1 expression by flow cytometry and corresponding mean fluorescence intensities for each cell line, (D) Vnn1 pantetheinase activity, and (E) quantification of cell numbers obtained between each passage after reseeding 3 × 105 cells in culture every 3 d, from passage P4 up to P8 after infection with retroviruses. More precisely, the difference P5–P4 gives the number of cells obtained after 3 d, P6–P5 after 6 d, P7–P6 after 9 d, and P8–P7 after 12 d in culture. Caroline Giessner et al.
