6 Rigorous Compliance & Security
We take security of our customers’ data very seriously. Since our inception, we have invested significantly in our information security management systems. We have implemented rigorous security policies at a PHI, data, application, hardware, network and physical infrastructure level. For example, all of our delivery centers have physical safeguards, such as the manning of entrances by security guards and all employees needing to pass through biometric scanners to enter facilities. Another example, all the computers used by our delivery personnel do not have removable storage devices such as USBs, as well as access to the Internet and printers to support data security. Our approach to risk management is to segregate risks that need to be managed by line functions and those that need to be managed centrally. GeBBS is SSAE 16 Type II certified, an auditing standard for service organizations that is independently reviewed annually by KPMG to ensure service organizational controls are in place. GeBBS is HIPAA compliant with annual certification and training/retraining of all delivery staff, including a dedicated HIPAA Compliance Officer at each delivery facility. IT Certifications ISO 9001 provides the framework for a formal quality management system and the requirements of an information security management system that complies with ISO The integration of these two standards enables GeBBS to comply with an increasing number of legal and regulatory requirements and enables the adoption of an integrated approach to security compliance management. All staff are GeBBS W2 employees. We do not subcontract. This allows us to consistently follow our rigorous security standards. Rigorous Compliance & Security
