1 EXCITING NEWS THIS TERM Welcome to our first monthly newsletter for the Gymnastics and Trampoline Division. We hope to share all sorts of news and information with you along with handy links, these are the blue underlined bits that lead directly to relevant web pages. This is an exciting month in Trampolining not only are we launching our very first Newsletter but we have 4 gymnasts competing at the National Trampoline Sports Championships this year. LATEST RESULTS 11 March CCYC Age/Open Qualifier + Levels results 25 th March Age/Open Qualifier 31 st March – 1 st April NSW Age & Open State Championships SOPSC Congratulations to all athletes who competed in these events. FUNDRAISING NEWS Our little club does lots of fund raising to help with the general running costs, our presentation day and maintenance of equipment, this year that included new springs for the main and the double mini tramp, and new flyaways. So far we have raise over $2,500 towards these costs, what a great effort by such a small club Bulbs raised over $220. Chocolates have so far raised $1,300. Last Saturday and with big thank you to all families who helped on the day we raise $1,030 with the Bunning's BBQ, a great day was had by all who attended. We would also like to thank Kate for arranging those yummy sausages from Joes Meats. 2 Ingleburn RSL Youth Club Gymnastics & Trampoline Division May 2012 Newsletter Page 2/2 REMINDERS Set up of gym equipment –Parents support with setting up and packing away of all gym equipment is an essential part of our club, and the quicker it goes up the quicker lessons start and the quicker it goes down the quicker we all go home. Arriving for Lessons - All gymnasts must arrive on time as warm ups are an important part of their training and parents must accompany younger children until their lessons have started. No pets please – There is a school policy that no pets are permitted on the premises this also applies to our club.
