The human tie, or desire for a brink and stone relationship is so strong humans still kill over it.

13. For Muslims
The Noble Sanctuary hosts Islam's third holiest site, the al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Dome of the Rock, a seventh-century structure believed to be where the Islamic Prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven.

Jews believe the compound is where the Biblical Jewish temples once stood, but Jewish law and the Israeli Rabbinate forbid Jews from entering the compound and praying there, as it is considered too holy to tread upon.

1. Jerusalem is sacred to the followers of three major faiths 2. The demand for equal access to the holy shrines is a source of tension 3. The importance “place” is used to verification of exclusive nature of each religion.

Christians who believe that Jesus will return to this earth to set up a physical kingdom and reign from Jerusalem…
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.”
