2. Adding ScoutView to an existing Commander 7 display.
Start by downloading the Field Scout app from the appropriate app store. Once Field Scout has been installed on mobile device, you are now ready to connect to the Commander 7 display.
Connecting to Commander 7 Display
If using an iOS mobile device, connect via Bluetooth to the Commander 7 display from Settings.
If using an android mobile device, open Field Scout and select “Connect” from the main menu.
iOS Connection
Select “Bluetooth” in the Settings menu and then find the Bluetooth ID for the Commander 7.
Mobile device is now paired and connected to Commander 7 display.

3. Adding ScoutView to an existing Commander 7 display.
Connecting in Field Scout and Updating Software
Open Field Scout.
Select “Connect” from the main menu.
Select display ID
“New Software Available” popup will appear. Select “Yes”.
Note: TK Recon™ trackers will need to be updated as well.

4. Adding ScoutView to an existing Commander 7 display.
Make sure mobile device is fully charged or plugged in before performing update on Commander 7. Update process for the Commander display and CAN bridge will take minutes.
Purchasing ScoutView™
Open Field Scout and select “Account” to log into your Green Ops account. Your MyDitchWitch account login will work as well. If you do not have an account, you can create an new one. It will work on both GreenOps and MyDitchWitch sites.
Select “Get Software”

5. Adding ScoutView to an existing Commander 7 display.
Add Scout view to cart.
Adjust “Quantity” as needed for number of Commander 7 displays.
Follow instructions to complete purchase.

Once purchase is complete, reconnect to Commander 7 display using previous instructions.
From the display information screen as shown below, select “Check for Features”.

6. Adding ScoutView to an existing Commander 7 display.
Feature screen will be displayed and popup asking if you would like to install the feature to the connected Commander 7 will appear.
Select “Install”.
This will only take a few seconds activate ScoutView on the display. Your Commander 7 with ScoutView is now ready for use.
Note: Once you assign a purchased feature to a device, it cannot be re-assigned to another device. For example, if you have two Commander 7 units and purchase one license for the ScoutView feature, it can only be assigned to one of the of the Commander units. It cannot be transferred to the other.
Return Policy
Refunds are available only if the software has not been downloaded to the device. At that point, we can delete the token. If the software has already been assigned to a device, we cannot issue a refund.
