As you come in, turn in your letter of Introduction if you did not turn it in yesterday. Put your things at your desk and then stand in a circle. Be sure that you are standing close enough to the person next to you to whisper to them. When I finish taking role, we will do our bellringer exercise together.

3 Objectives for Today Students will demonstrate their current proficiency in interpersonal communication skills (listening, oral, written). They will present and listen to personal introductions with partners based on the letters of introduction already written. They will demonstrate effective listening skills through summary responses. Using Interpersonal Communication Skills With your desk group… 1. Each group member reads his/her Letter of Introduction. 2. While the letter is being read, the other group members take notes about the information in the letter in the space provided on this page. 3. After the reader is finished, other group members may ask questions about information they may have missed. 4. After each group member is finished reading, each will read back his/her notes to the others. Letter writers will discuss how accurate and complete the notes are.
