How to advise a student who is transferring to another institution during the academic year

3. Officially Withdraw Student must formally withdraw from University

4. How to Transfer Financial Aid?
Financial aid will NOT automatically transfer to new school
Aid is cancelled due to no enrollment at UML, and student must receive aid from new school
Student must file a FAFSA form and make sure the new school is added to FAFSA application
If student has already completed FAFSA, the student must log into FAFSA application ( and add the new school code to his/her application
Student should also contact new school to find out all application forms required
