The Church is God’s people collectively carrying out God’s mission of Redemption.

Our Mission Statement: “Building bridges to God, Christians and culture.”
We are a church community proclaiming God as the One who initiates bridges into our lives, thereby giving us purpose and joy.
We are a church community sharing the common bridge of God's Spirit, thereby creating a loving and supporting family.
We are a church community expressing Jesus Christ as the bridge to our culture, thereby bringing humankind back to a relationship with their Creator.

8. Our Mission and Vision
Our Vision Statement: Because we are a people driven church advancing the kingdom of God, we are working to reach the following goals by 2011:
Create a clear organizational structure that both supports and unleashes people into ministry.
Implement an intentional discipleship and leadership development plan that is thorough, understandable and practical.
Be committed to measurable goals that result in Bridges having a progressive presence for Christ in the community.
Resulting in: A new church plant.

Ephesians 2:1-6 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions-- it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
