Status and Plans Tile-HCal prototype has entered its construction phase. Unique in its ability to explore the whole range of readout options from the purely digital to the fully analog Inclusion of a tail-catcher/muon tracker for studying shower tails, leakage and muon identification/reconstruction in the PFlow paradigm will allow the full realization Calice test beam program. Program has nurtured and benefited from its truly international character. This trend is expected to intensify…. The next step is the exposure of the prototype to a hadron test beam to not only gain operational experience but even more importantly test, influence and validate the hadronic shower simulations leading to further development of PFlow algorithms. Need to take test beam together with the ECal in the period if conceptual detector design choices are to be made in time for the proposed 2015 start of the LC. 5/22/2019 V.
