9. Adding a mode means…
to redesign the survey instrument of the Microcensus Housing Survey completely,
but to minimize breaks in time series and re-establish interdependences.
The multi-method process supports the development of a new self-administrable and user-friendly questionnaire.
It is a time-consuming procedure,
but it enables to develop and check the survey instrument from different perspectives.
