3 Phase I Transition Update
The generator interconnection process and long-term transmission service request process were transitioned back to Duke Energy Carolinas on February 1, 2013 Management of OASIS day-to-day operations continues with the MISO Independent Entity Primary DEC contact for generator interconnections and long-term TSR’s is Charlotte Glassman ( )

4 Phase II Transition Status
On target to start no later than April 1, 2013 OASIS management will be transitioned back to the System Operations Center (SOC) in Charlotte All remaining parts of the MISO Independent Entity function will be transitioned back to the SOC and DEC will become your contact for all Tariff related business. DEC contacts after complete transition: Charlotte Glassman ( ) Alan Pritchard ( ) Scott Lewter ( )

5 Parallel Operations A parallel operation period between MISO Independent Entity and DEC will occur in two phases: Phase 1 February 4-28 weekdays from CST This phase began as planned and is currently operating well No significant issues or concerns to date Phase 2 March 1–31 weekdays from CST Customers will contact the MISO Independent Entity directly and the Independent Entity will work with DEC to process requests
