2. Congratulations! You have earned this day.
The graduation ceremony is a privilege, not a right.
We will have a dignified ceremony that honors our graduates and their accomplishment.

3. Seniors’ Last Day

4. Senior Checkout Monday, May 13 @ 8 AM
Senior exams
May 8-9; 7:40 am – 10:30 am; 3-205
You must take the exam if you failed either the 3rd or 4th nine weeks, if you have 6 or more days absent in a block class or 11 or more days absent in 1st hour to receive credit for graduation.
Senior Checkout Monday, May 8 AM
Graduation Rehearsal Wednesday, May 8 AM

5. Mrs. West Graduation Requirements
Tell your counselor if you do not plan to walk.
NO COMMUNITY SERVICE = NO GRADUATION
Senior Survey must be done before senior checkout
Edgenuity/Online classes submitted to guidance by May 3

7. Awards Night

Those receiving an award or recognition will receive an invitation.
Everyone can attend.

Only day to receive graduation clearance, cap and gown, and 7 tickets
Need signed Senior Check-Out Pledge
First names A – G, arrive at 8:00 am
First names H – M, arrive at 9:30 am
First names N – Z, arrive at 11:00 am

11. Check Out - MANDATORY
Leave yourself plenty of time. It can be a slow process!
Bring SRHS Student ID or FL Driver’s License
Must remain in gym until complete
Receive a number and sit in the bleachers
When your number is called, start at Table 1 then Table 2 and so on

16. Graduation Ceremony Friday, May 17, 9:00 Be in the building by 7:30 Am
Doors open for guests at 7:00 and close at 8:45
Guest in a wheelchair? Only 2 others can sit with them.

18. General Info
Take pictures before the ceremony. You will return your gown right after the ceremony.
Plenty of parking
Metal Detectors and bag searches
Graduates cannot carry cameras, bags, purses, etc.

19. NOT PERMITTED Food or beverages Flower deliveries Balloons or signs
Air horns, whistles, other noisemakers
Disruptive guests may be asked to leave

20. Dress Guidelines SRHS cap, gown, and tassel from Herff Jones
(ladies – red, gentlemen – silver)
Tassels start on the right side
No Gum
Caps should be flat; no decorations
Avoid heavy clothes
Necklaces must be inside the gown
Only SRHS issued cords and medallions are to be worn. No pins, etc.

21. Graduation Attire Look sharp! Ladies and gentlemen, business attire
Dress pants – black, dark brown, or navy blue. No jeans or Khakis
Dresses should not fall below the hem of the gown
Dark dress shoes; black, dark brown, navy blue
Ladies can wear silver or nude. Also dressy sandals.
Gentlemen wear a light colored, button-down shirt with a TIE.

22. Project Graduation Cost is $20.19. Forms are in the front office.
May 17 from 9:00 pm – 2:00 am
