3 RF Systems RF systems contains two work packages: RF systems provide
Power Converters RF systems provide The RF power to accelerate the particles The power converters to generate the high power RF The power converters for the magnets in the superconducting linac except the raster magnets All major components are designed and in most cases ordered, except high beta modulators, high beta klystrons

7 ESS schedule and goals Top accelerator goal: Beam through RFQ (MEBT, DTL1) during 2019 A lot to accomplish during 2019 to achieve this goal Beam on dump milestone June 2021 At this time all linac systems, including the complete medium beta LLRF systems, must be ready, installed, and commissioned Target RF group: All RF including Medium beta, installed before end 2020 (this is to allow debugging and commissioning) A lot to accomplish, too.
