3. Course Description & Goal Objectives
This class will:
Instruct students in a basic understanding of music, including aspects of:
Theory
History
Performance
Afford students the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice by performing in our End of the Trimester Concert
“Change of Seasons” Concert, November 21

4. Grading/Homework Policy
Students will be graded according to the following weighted categories:
Daily Participation = 20% of total grade
Tests & Quizzes= 20% of total grade
Projects = 20% of total grade
Concert = 30% of total grade
Music Binder = 10% of total grade
Late Work: Late work will be accepted through the end of each unit. It is the students’ responsibility to bring each assignment to the teacher for grading/adjudication.
