The difference between summary and quote? Quotes need to be cited! The difference between citing and paraphrasing? In citing, we use quotation marks. In paraphrasing, there is usually no need for quotation marks. Both citing and paraphrasing require the authors’ names in parentheses, as well as the year of publishing!

The differences in citing: reference list vs. in-text citation In reference list, you should follow alphabetical order, and the additional information: Name of the author, the year of publishing, title, name and place of publishing, number of pages In in-text citation, you should give the name of the authors, the year of publishing, and the number of cited page The difference in citing a book, book chapter, scientific article, newspaper article, webpage etc. For more detailed instructions, please take a look at additional pdf material (APA citation, Week 8)
