Number 1 - Do all operations within group symbols first.
This includes parenthesis and brackets.

5. Memorize Rules
Number 2 - Work all problems that have exponents. Begin from Left to Right.

6. Memorize Rules
Number 3 - Multiply or Divide (which ever comes first from Left to Right).

7. Memorize Rules
Number 4 - Add or Subtract (which ever comes first from Left to Right).
