Eform | Sample Department to Student (refusal) Communication Department Thank you for your interest and application to the Department of Communication. This letter is to inform you that your application to become a major in the Communication Department has not been approved at this time. You do not have the necessary cumulative gpa of 2.7 to be admitted as a Communication Studies. At the end of the quarter, once grades post, we will go through and check your cumulative gpa again to see if you are eligible at that time. If you are (and we hope you are), we will process your application and you will be notified via your campus that you have been accepted. If you still don’t meet the requirements at that time, we will continue to hold your application and check your gpa the following quarter, unless you notify us in writing that you want to withdraw your application.
