Thailand is landlocked with the surrounding countries Burma, Loas, Malaysia and Cambodia. These countries are situated on the south-west portion of Asia

4. Biodiversity description andthreats
Thailand has a vast number of ecosystems, thus, contributing to the great amount of biodiversity aspects. The country is landlocked therefore, there is no connecting with the ocean.
threats to biodiversity in Thailand consists of a vast raange of poaching, deforestation due to agricultural expansion and illegal timber harvesting, destructive fishing practices, pollution, and disturbances caused by major infrastructure development.

Targets need to be prepared as individual Boolean RASTER distribution maps. Please provide Species Penalty Factors for each Target. YOU WILL USE SEVERAL SLIDES TO SHOW these Conservation Targets. The Ecological planning unit was used to create a conservation plan for Thailand. The Ecological planning unit includes the catchments, the elevation as well as the rainfall within Thailand

Methods
 The systematic conservation planning unit centres on managing, designing and locating protected areas that signify the biodiversity of each region. The SCPU also includes selecting and designing the protected area network which functions together to gain the conservation objectives.

The C.A.R.E. concept.
Connected: guarantees that there is adequate room being provided for the species to be mobile within the surrounding areas and it’s habitat.
Adequate: Certifies/guarantees that there is stability in the future and current of the species. The target has to be met so that the system can function.
Representation: this system is best for the protection of habitats and species. This system should by all mean be able to feature numerous plans within the conservation section which should make sure there is a replacement if a natural disaster is to take place.
Efficient: this system is grounded on the conservation targets which requires that the system should take humans into consideration. in addition to this due to the basis of the cost efficiency as well as the livelihoods of urbanization.
