1 Chapter 2 Lesson 3 Biogeography

2 What is biogeography? The study of where organisms live. It basically describes where living things are found on Earth.

3 Continental Drift This is a process in which the plates move either closer or farther apart. The continents are parts of huge blocks of rock that are called plates. As the plates move, so do the continents. Continental drift has impacted the distribution of species on Earth.

4 What was Pangea? Pangea was a name given to all of the continents when they were once connected. Look at how the continents look like a puzzle.
