Objectives: I will… Develop life-long reading habits. Participate in the writing process. Engage in self-reflection. HW: Finish Drafting draft number 2 for word processing in the Lib. Lab on April 10.

2 Warm-up (COMPLETE UNDER YOUR AGENDA).
Now for a blast from the past! Here are your beginning of the year introduction letters. You should reread your letter. Respond underneath your agenda to the following: 1. What surprised you about your letter? 2. What memories does it bring back? 3. What is the same, and what is different?

3 1. Revise vs Edit Copy these definitions To amend the order, improve the clarity, add details or remove details; improve the flow We will revise my letter together. Do you want to revise with a partner? OR Individually? All students will use “Feeling Your OAQS” from p. 1 of the “Final Stages packet” Create a response sheet for yourself or your partner. To check for correct use of conventions; check for grammar and spelling errors; fine tune your writing. Do you want to edit in pairs OR Individually? Make use of editor’s markings on p. 2 of the “Final Stages” Packet.
