3. Cornell two-column note-taking!
The Cornell or the Two Column Note Taking strategy (Pauk 2001) helps students determine importance and to self-question as they read, comprehension strategies that effective readers use to make sense of text.
The strategy provides students with a system for organising information in a useful format. Students identify the main ideas and important information of a topic, a prerequisite to developing insight, by writing the main points in one column and supporting or essential details in a second column.

4. Outlining
The outline method is perhaps one of the most common, but still one of the best note-taking methods. Probably, you have been using it before, maybe without even knowing it had a name.

5. Mapping
The Mapping Method. Mapping is a method that uses comprehension/concentration skills and evolves in a note taking form which relates each fact or idea to every other fact or idea. Mapping is a graphic representation of the content of a lecture.

6. Charting
The Charting Method. Charting note taking method uses columns to organize information. This method is useful for lessons that cover a lot of facts or relationships between topics.

10. Chronological order
Chronological order is the arranging of events in which they have happened.

11. Inverted Pyramid
Inverted pyramid is a metaphor used by journalists & other writers to illustrate how information should be prioritized & structured in a text.

12. Problem and solution
Problem-solution is a method for analyzing and writing about a specific topic by identifying the problem and proposing on or more solutions.
Ex). A problem-solution essay is a type of argument

13. Priority Sequence
Priority sequence is when you specify the order in which jobs are to be processed, based on the allocation or priorities.

14. Deductive order
Process of reasoning from one or more statements to reach a certain conclusion

15. Inductive order
A way to describe something that leads to something else.
You collect information and draw conclusions from what you observe.

16. Table Table: Arrangement of data in rows and columns.
Mostly used in research, communication, and data analysis.
They appear in media, notes, computer software, architectural ornamentation, traffic signs and many other places.

17. Bar graphs
A bar chart or bar graph is a chart or graph that presents categorical data with rectangular bars with heights or lengths proportional to the values that they represent.

18. Line Graph
A line graph (also called a line chart or run chart) is a simple but powerful tool and is generally used to show changes over time. Line graphs can include a single line for one data set, or multiple lines to compare two or more sets of data. The essential components of a line graph are the same as other charts.

19. Pie Chart
A pie chart (or a circle chart) is a circular statistical graphic, which is divided into slices to illustrate numerical proportion. In a pie chart, the arc length of each slice (and consequently its central angle and area), is proportional to the quantity it represents.
