All the guidelines for the project have been sent home with the students on Monday March 7th. If you need another copy, just let me know.
If you choose a plant, please do not use the same one I did for this sample.

Palm tree

4. Side 2 (How does a palm tree get air?)
A palm tree is a plant. It does not have a nose, mouth, or lungs. There are tiny holes in the leaves called pores. Oxygen passes through the pores. That is how a palm tree gets air.

5. Side 3 (How does a palm tree get water?)
A palm tree gets water from the rain or if a person waters it.

6. Side 4 (How does a palm tree get energy?)
A palm tree does not eat food like people and animals do. Using the sun’s energy, a palm trees makes its own food. This is called photosynthesis.

7. Side 5 (What is a good habitat for a palm tree?)
Palm trees grow best in tropical places where the weather is hot and sunny.
