Most conventional intelligence tests assess abilities dependent on literacy and numeracy
They are designed to be taken individually
The 3 tests that we study are;
Binet’s Test of Intelligence
Stanford-Binet Test of Intelligence
Wechsler’s Tests of Intelligence

1. BINET’S TEST OF INTELLIGENCE
Specifically designed for use with schoolchildren
Based on the assumption that intelligence is age-related
Items arranged in increasing level of difficulty
Final result was a number called ‘mental age’ (eg. 3 years, 6 months)
‘Mental age’ should be the same as ‘chronological age’
