2 TIMELINE FOR REGISTRATION
November – February – Open Houses January - class instruction and District Booklets provided re: course selection - Counsellor requests course recommendations from core subject teachers - ELL students complete assessment which combined with teacher recommendations will determine their placement in High School (ELL or regular course stream) - Optional Information night for parents at St. Augustine – general registration information February – Applications provided to students by Jr. High Counsellor - Programs of Choice application usually due about 3rd week of February

3 TIMELINE CONTINUED March - Designated school applications usually due early March - On line registration at St. Augustine (with Counsellor) is mid March, you may not register unless your application has been returned with a parent/guardian signature - ALL High School registration is complete prior to Spring Break June Most schools host a meet the TA (Teacher Advisor) night or are in contact with students about September procedures. High Schools will mail a letter to your home, therefore it is important that they have accurate information regarding your address.
