5 Why to annotate? Reason # 1 - It helps you to understand what you read
- It makes you read more critically and more analytically (This means that you read closely and think while you read) Note: This is likely to improve reading scores!

6 Why to annotate? Reason # 2 - It makes the information usable
- You can actually use the information whenever you need to (class discussions and essays) Note: This is likely to improve writing grades, and you will stand out in class discussions!

- It helps you to remember information more because it imprints information in your memory Note: This is likely to improve test and quiz grades!
