How do I use an “eBook”?  Your eBook can be read cover to cover on your KSD laptop after you check the book out similar to using a Nook or Kindle.  You can flip through the eBook and you may read a few pages before deciding to check it out.  You can read a Mattson MackinVIA eBook from anywhere you have internet access. MackinVIA is the source for accessing eBooks in the Kent S.D.

7. How can I search for a book? Method #1 Type the book title in the search bar. If the book is not in the collection, you’ll get a “No Results” message.

13. What happens when I select a book? The book will open and there will be navigation arrows and tools in the left corner which have several functions including re-sizing the text, page view, etc. Read like other any book.

14. What are the advantages of eBooks? There are several advantages to MackinVIA including: 1.You can put “favorite” book choices in your backpack without checking them out by clicking “Add to Favorites”. 2. You may preview any of the 175 books without checking it out, but you may check out only one ebook at a time. 3. Your eBook will be automatically returned on their due date. 4.
