A non profit volunteer organization comprised of over 10,000 members in 300 chapters across the United States
Our Mission: To foster vibrant business communities through mentoring and education
We partner with the US Small Business Administration and the USDA
We receive grant funding from the SBA
All Business Mentors must document educational steps to attain SCORE certification
Our members commit annually to a strict Code of Client Confidentiality and Ethics

3. SCORE Vancouver Statistics
Service area covers Clark and Cowlitz counties with occasional consulting to Stevenson & beyond
Our 32 Vancouver mentors provided 1,400 mentoring sessions and nearly 1,000 client hours of instruction in 28 seminars to our business communities last fiscal year
Nearly a third of our members are women and nearly a third of our members are currently employed
The Vancouver chapter has received the SCORE/PWC Platinum Award for Performance three out of the past four years
Member specialties embrace Finance, Restaurant, Retail, Manufacturing and service industries
