Each school has been asked to nominate their ICON School Leader/s, one of whom is a member of the school Leadership Team. The suggested number of ICON School Leaders per school is based on student enrolments: School size ICON School Leaders <50 1 51–100 students 1–2 101–400 students 2–3 401–800 students 2–5 > 800 students 3–6

5 Role of ICON School Leaders
ICON School Leaders will be responsible for: Determining priorities for ICON readiness Leading the implementation of ICON in their school.

will be responsible for leading the implementation of ICON in their school. The nominated ICON School Leaders will have the support of ICON Coaches: at regional workshops through online learning opportunities through school visits

How will staff be informed about what’s involved in ICON Readiness? How will ICON Readiness be prioritised in 2011? What existing management structures/processes are in place that can support ICON Readiness? Are new structures needed to be put in place? How is this process going to be managed? How will the whole school community be informed about ICON?
