7 Daily Use… -All belongings should be locked during class.
-NO BACKPACKS left on the floor. -Use a big locker during class and transfer your lock back to your small locker after changing. -Unlocked items may be collected and a school consequence may be issued for leaving items unlocked.

13 Must be PHYSICALLY made up for points to be reinstated.
“NON Participations” Must be PHYSICALLY made up for points to be reinstated. -After 3 non-dresses without a make-up, the student will be failing the semester until the make-up is complete. -Must stay at 3 or fewer non-dresses to be able to pass. IMPORTANT Students who are not participating in class, regardless of the reason, may not be on electronic devices or eating during class.

14 “Absences” -Students may have up to 3 absences without need to complete a make-up. Daily points will not be taken away for the first three excused absences. -After 3 absences, students will receive 0 of 3 points for the day for each subsequent absence. This does not apply to medical absences. -Students will be allowed to complete a make-up for any absences beyond the first 3. After completing a make-up, full points (3 of 3) can be restored for the absence.

PHYSICAL MAKE-UP OPTION For “non dresses/absences” ONLY AVAILABLE ON CERTAIN TUESDAY’S Go directly to the locker-room to change or arrive in your full PE uniform. Report to the field house and check in with the teacher present. Late arrivals will be not allowed to complete a make-up. 6:45am OR 3:05pm is the start time. Absent= 1 mile No Dress=1.5 mile

16 MEDICALLY EXCUSED FROM PHYSICAL PARTICIPATION
Bring all notes, Dr. and parent, to the nurse! The nurse will prepare a note for you to present to your teacher. Report all injuries during class to the PE teacher & nurse. A Dr.’s Note, that excuses physical participation for…. 1-5 Days = will NOT require a physical makeup. 6 or More Days = will require that WRITTEN work be completed to receive PE credit. A Dr.’s Note, that requires “Modified PE” will….. require that the student & teacher communicate with one another to come up with a program suitable to their needs. **ALL medical work has expectations, deadlines, and grades. **Points earned for these assignments will be calculated into the final grade.

17 BE ON TIME! Students tardy to the GYM DOOR will receive a school tardy from a hallway monitor/dean. You will be given 4 minutes to dress for class, BE ON TIME!

18 Grades are based on: Do Your Part! So then, REMEMBER…..
Daily Points (50%) 3 Points Per Day -Completion of the learning objective -Participation and cognitive involvement throughout lesson -Official dress/preparation Assignments and Assessments (35%) -Students will complete written tests, fitness portfolios and fitness days throughout the semester. FitnessGram Average (5%) -Students will complete FitnessGram tests (fitness testing). Student’s pre and post will be used to determine this score. FitnessGram Progress Score (10%) -Based on students pre fitness tests it is expected that students make strides towards a healthy fitness zone or maintain current healthy fitness zone standards. So then, REMEMBER…..
