11 Annotate or keep a journal
If you are unable to mark in your book, keep a handwritten or typed journal of your responses. If you are able to write in your book, underline or highlight AND jot notes beside the focal text. Even if you are able to write in your book, you still may want to keep a journal.

12 My Method Large Sticky Notes
In grad school, I would read a small section of a text (sometimes just a page or two) and summarize it on the spot, in my own words on to a large sticky note. I would stick the note right there on that page and then I had a quick review for each section of the book.

I will bring a small poster board to you to create a “Reminder Board” for us to have up in the classroom until the day of the final exam. Choose one person from your team to present the board.

Be quick, concise, and loud enough for us to hear. Both teammates should go the front of the class (one to hold the board and on to explain it and point to it).
